Administrative staff

Would you like to join the team of administrative staff at the Danish permanent representation to the EU?

 

The Permanent Representation of Denmark to the European Union is seeking to hire an administrative staff member to assist in the areas of HR and financial management. As our new colleague in the administrative team, you will join a large group of local staff who perform various administrative and secretarial tasks.

 

The position includes a variety tasks in order to support the work that takes place in the foreign policy area in general. The exact portfolio will be defined upon commencement. Furthermore, you are expected to participate as secretary to Danish delegations at EU council meetings in Brussels and Luxembourg from time to time. A flexible approach is required as tasks and portfolio may be subject to change according to organizational needs.

 

You have a relevant educational background, and it would be an advantage if you have previous experience with administrative work, secretarial functions or project management. We expect you to be familiar with MS Office. Proficiency in Danish or one of the Scandinavian languages is an asset as much communication takes place in Danish. Good communication skills in English is necessary and some knowledge of French is an advantage.

 

We offer a friendly, collaborative and dynamic work environment. You must be service minded, have great interpersonal skills and be team oriented. The position requires a person who is able to prioritize tasks, maintain overview and pay attention to detail. As tasks may be subject to change according to organizational needs, a flexible mindset is required.

 

Interviews will take place in September. Starting date will be 01 November 2022 (or soonest thereafter).

Employment conditions:
The position is offered for local recruitment with compensation level reflecting local conditions. You must be able to pass and maintain Danish security clearance. The salary will reflect your qualifications and relevant experience. The position is a full time employment offered for a fixed term of 24 months with the possibility of extension by mutual agreement.
